Replay rubric: what “practiced well” means

Score the process. Glance at P&L last, if at all.

Why this matters

Without a rubric, “I practiced” means “I watched candles.” BarionQuant will play as long as you ask. The software will not tell you the sitting was good. You need a card you can finish in three minutes after End Training.

This card is for training. A high score does not authorize live size. A low score is not a moral failure; it is a reason to stop for the day.

Rubric / Checklist

Mark each dimension yes / partial / no. Do not use plus-or-minus money as a column.

  1. Rule written first. You had one written rule before Play. Not “be careful.”
  2. Single variable. You did not change period, indicators, and the rule in the same sitting.
  3. Transport honesty. You used Pause / Step when you needed to think. You did not speed-run through a mistake to “see if it worked out.”
  4. Stop on break. When the rule broke, you stopped the experiment. You did not immediately revenge-step.
  5. Artifact. There is a note, review sentence, or Journal line a stranger could read tomorrow.
  6. Timebox kept. You ended because the clock or the lesson ended — End Training — not because you were bored or euphoric.
  7. No live leakage. You did not open a broker ticket “just to compare.” BarionQuant is not that venue.

Practiced well = at least five yes, zero “I will remember it.” Partial on artifact is acceptable once; twice in a week means the sitting is entertainment.

When to stop for the day: two no on stop-on-break, or any live leakage, or you cannot write the artifact. Close the app. Do not open New Training to “fix the score.”

Common mistakes

  • Adding a “P&L quality” row. It will eat the other six.
  • Scoring while Play is still running. Pause first.
  • Copying someone else’s indicator template into the rubric. Templates are Edit → Indicator templates… — a tool, not a grade.
  • Saving the score only in your head because the review dialog is optional. Optional means you still write the sentence somewhere.
  • Using later chapters as a way to avoid this card. Depth without a rubric is more reading, not better practice.
