When RSI and MACD disagree, I pass

Two momentum reads. If they disagree, I do not pick a side. If one pane is missing, there is no disagreement to resolve.
Direct answer
RSI and MACD are two different calculations on the same prices. RSI is a bounded ratio of recent gains to losses. MACD is the gap between two averages. When both panes are on and they point different ways, I pass. I do not pick the one I like.
On this sitting I cannot run that test. RSI is on. MACD is off. A missing pane is not a vote.
How to judge
Are both panes actually on?
If MACD is unchecked, I do not invent a MACD number. I cannot disagree with a pane I cannot see.
If both are on, are they clearly on opposite sides?
A 52 RSI and a histogram that is barely negative is noise, not a fight. A fight is one read clearly above its midline and the other clearly below, on closed bars.
Did I use the fight as a reason to click?
If I pick a winner so the sitting feels decided, I am not using this rule. The rule is to pass.
This is not the multi-timeframe pass. That page is If the small timeframe looks right and the large one disagrees, pass. This page is two oscillators on one chart.
The sitting on this page
Same Training session as the moving-average note: BarionQuant Desktop, 2026-10-12, GBPUSD M15. After Close, the chart has one MA, and a pane labeled RSI (14) 64.58. There is no MACD pane.

The dialog from the same sitting shows why. Under Sub-windows, RSI is checked. MACD is not.

I do not read 64.58 as a buy. I do not write a MACD value for this hour. After the close, is the bar getting longer or shorter is the closed-bar MACD read on a different tape, with MACD actually painted.
How to check MA and RSI is Put MA and RSI on the chart.
When I throw the comparison out
I throw it out when one pane is missing and I still talk as if they fought. I throw it out when both are near the middle. I throw it out when I use the fight as permission to take the next bar.
A Standard seat can turn MACD on. Then the three checks apply on that sitting. This capture is not that sitting.
What we do
The Windows desk on Download is the practice window. Free has MA and RSI. Free has no MACD sub-window. If you are on Free, take the first check from this page: you cannot pick a winner against a pane you do not have.
We ship Windows. No Mac. No browser replay. We are not a broker.
For study and simulated practice only. This is not investment advice.
Who should skip
Skip this page if you want a rule that chooses RSI or MACD for you, a buy at RSI 64.58, or a MACD number from this screenshot.
Keep it if you already open both panes and you want the pass written down before you pick a side.
Next step
The closed-bar MACD read is After the close, is the bar getting longer or shorter. The button below is the Windows desk.
